There is no way I could ever take a photo of this thing. It's so small I actually thought I was seeing things, But, when I stared at the glass on my tank, I could see these tiny hairs moving ever so slightly around. Side to side they crawl looking for food on the wall. Honestly I look at the pods way too much for normalcy, and I've never seen these little hair worms before. Does anybody have a clue what I'm looking at?

based on your description i have the same thing.... and i had no idea until someone showed me this website: Worm Hitch Hikers i would say they are some kind of phylodocid worm (scroll down to the "polychaete reproduction" section, second row, far left)

Very good possibility, This one I've found almost looks like a phylodocid hair crawling on the glass. It's very short, and my only concern is that they aren't predatory to any extent. I'm glad to see some lack of responses actually because that shows they aren't too common and not too much of a pest. (crosses fingers)

Thanks for the Post Eric, great read.
