So I'm at the tail end of cycling, and today I noticed tiny little swimming creatures in my tank. Thousands of them. I have no idea what they are, but my best description is that they are very tiny and white. I took a picture, but some of the stuff floating around is just debris, and the camera auto-focuses, so I couldn't get a good picture anyway. Any ideas?

Most likely pods - good for your tank.

I've been sick, so haven't been productively testing. About ready to hit the hay, but I'll be testing my water params tomorrow.

i was kinda thinking calcium precipatation, but something would have to be way off. The only reason i saw that was probably cause i just read a long thread about it. plus if it is swimming then it couldnt be.

Are they moving on the glass surface? Sometimes like jumping? Did you get live rocks or live sand from an established tank?

If they're on your glass...moving..jumping like ReefWizard said...they are probable pods.

    They're good!
