Hey everyone,

So i wanted to make this topic to apologize to some of my fellow reefers on this forum. I wanna say to all of you, that you have definitely given me advice that works, but i've also been up in some pretty nasty discussion, (you remember that topic some of you? Oh god...) anyway, i'm sorry and thought that i would like to show you guys some more respect. I will try to stay as least offended as possible, cause i usually get that when i get negative comments, because i tend to stay with my own research, crazy me... But yeah, so guys feel free to come with advice, but man.. If i get out in any nasty discussions, tell me, so i realize it. I want to learn to stop. Because i know you guys know more than me, and thats important i get this clear: I'm still not an experienced reefer, i've had my tank for soon a year now. I'm enjoying the hobby never the less, but discussions just gets me down, i loose my motivation :-/ But, i'm gonna stay positive, i hope you guys are gonna do that too, so yeah, see you guys in another topic

And again, thanks for helping me throughout this time, if i have a problem i know where to go to! You guys rock ;D

 

Nobody on here wants to be upset or mean with you. I'm one of those and I'm sorry. Some of us (me especially) lose our temper because we feel that there are times where you seem so set in your ways it is impossible to convey advice. You work on that, and we'll (me) try not to be mean

I wanted to say that I noticed the avatar change :thumb_up: I also wanted to mention that I really enjoyed your video of the aquarium (the one with the music) nice job! I'm sure I'll probably never be lucky enough to visit it in person so I really enjoyed that.

 

WHAT?!? A 15 year old kid really doesn't know everything??? LOL. Don't worry too much about it, it's a common thing, although the current crop of youngsters here is pretty knowledgeable and polite. You have to learn your patience, just like everybody else. Then you gain respect. Hang in there!

 

Hey man, don't think that we don't like you. We just try our best to get you the best possible advice, and it's usually a good idea to follow it. I know this from experience We'll always be here to help.

I will respect you guys more, you guys deserve it. There is no reason to start endless and useless discussions, when it just doesnt make sense to start in the first place. But i hope you guys know, that i've never thought you guys didnt know what you're talking about, i know you guys are experts, which is the reason i come here in the first place. To get advice, and give it further to other people in this hobby. I wont be an idiot anymore, i hope i will never get this attitude again. But hey, i learned something new in that matter right?

 

Haha, yeah i really like this avatar Thanks, i'm glad people like it. I thought it would be nice to show people some behind the scenes footage of an public aquarium, because its not normally allowed for people to see it, and what aquarist doesnt wanna see giant tanks from above, or giant filtration and stuff?

 

Haha, yeah... I feel stupid to even think that. Or well i didnt in that manner, but i think i sounded like i knew everything, but that wasnt my intention Oh trust me, many of the "youngsters" here in Denmark are very well educated, and knowledgeable compared to most countries. Very polite too. But, something like swearing is not what we danes take as an "impolite" behaviour. Man, most danish people swear every 10 words now adays. I will! Thanks for understanding

 

Yeah, thats why i'm gonna follow your advice. There might be many opinions in this hobby, but i always want to listen to people that are more experienced than me. That way i can do the same as they did, to maybe get as successful as them, and i know you guys are that for sure !
