If they started distributing these in America. I would be all over it and run down to the store and buy one right away. And I agree with Mike the looks of the HOB filter on a pico reefs just isn't appealing to me. Now they came out with something that is simple but uniform looking. Just gotta wait for the Dymax to get to Washington :-/

I would buy one of these in a heart beat for $50-$60. Love the look of the over flow and def. agree that a big HOB on a pico is ugly. The lighting would be very easy to upgrade if it was not enough, get the Azoo LED unit with the blue and white LEDs or one of those Azoo lights that can take a 9w 50/50 PC bulb.

the PAR readings are not all that i am afraid and would just be about right for shrooms or zoas at the base.......you would need to suppliment the lighting if wanting other types of corals........Other than that it is a lovely tank to own :D

Has anyone done PAR readings on one?

With no blue LED's, it actually makes it more likely the PAR it makes could support a lot more than LPS. I wouldn't doubt SPS could be raised in it.

So who do we need to email to get them to import it here and not through ebayers?

Thanks for the heads up. I was hoping to see PAR readings, but that hasn't been done yet.
