Just got an e-mail this morning from marine depot advertising the new salt so I guess that's what they'll be shipping now. Had a link to a YouTube video too though I haven't seen it yet.

    Cool. Good to know.
Here is some more from Red Sea:

Blue Bucket = RED SEA SALT ( Contains the exact parameters of tropical reef water with a slightly elevated alkalinity).

Black Bucket = CORAL PRO SALT ( Contains elevates levels elements for accelerate coral growth).

Both are new buckets = new formulas.

    Glad to hear it!
I've completely stopped dosing ESV as a result of this salt. I just do 1/3 water changes every 2 weeks. My acros are growing... Happy days are here again!

WOW that is quite a claim! I do water changes every two weeks and I would like to stop dosing. What size is your tank and what is your stock load of sps?

Finally some replies!! Matts results have me wanting to experiment. I'm currently using ESV salt mix. I have to admit I never tested it but I will tomorrow. Perhaps once my supply runs out I'll make the switch ;).
