    I haven't noticed any power issue. So far it works great the first time every time. The closest I've noticed is when you run the test, there's a 3 minute timer, and after the timer expires, it only displays the result for a few seconds (15? 20? 30?) before it powers off, so if you run the test and walk away, and forget, the timer can expire, display the result, you miss it and it goes off, LOL!

    Easy answer is just to stay in the vicinity and keep an on it... :)
