temp problem

the temp in my tank is changing a lot. at night the tank will get down to 78 and during the day it will get up to 80.2. will this temperature change cause any problems. i know some fish are prone to disease with temp cahnge but didnt know if this would cause it or not. thanks

 

No, i dont think it will do any harm to your fish or corals. My temp. changes alot too, from 77 at night to 80 during the day.

 

mine changes alot 2, at night its like 76 and during the day its 78-79 though now that its getting colder lol...los angeles..cold...well not its more like 75 at night and 77 during the day...as long as it doesnt go from like 70-86 lol...

 

I have a heater and chiller so mine doesn't have to much of a change but before that my tank would go from 79 at night to 85 day.so you see why I got the chiller ;Dnothing never happened to the fish but my corals were not happy.

 

wow 85, thats hot lol...i wanna get a chiller for the summers...but its so much $$...lol

 

ya my lights can put out some heat;D
