TankedCam: iPhone PC fish monitor - Are you Tanked?

I would use it mainly on road trips, where I could set it up dead center of the main tank. Or have my wife put it front of different tanks while I am deployed so I can see my fish every so often, watch my corals grow that sort of thing while I am not home.

I received some information from WaveJam regarding their tankedCAM today. 8)

• They are hopeful for a 2009 launch date. (Not set yet)
• They are hope to have it in the $200 - $300 price range (Not set)
• tankedCAM runs on a webapp that will work with many different phones. Display is currently optimized for iPhone, but it will work with others.
• They are working on different camera solutions (Read that the one pictured in this thread is a prototype of a prototype and the real ones may be smaller, etc.)

This is so usless but so cool i was just playing with that guys tank on my iphone there is only like 1 second delay and im in aus i thought that was pretty cool if its under 200 bucks im gonna buy it

 

I could see this being worse for driving than texting.. look out for reefers on the road!
