Lowest 76.5, highest 80. I have AC so that helps keep it fairly stable.

You guys make 76 and 74 degrees sound like its a bad thing.

All of my reef tanks including my 75 gallon Display, 3 frag tank\grow
tanks and my seahorse tank all average between 73 and 77 degrees
year around and I have never had an issue.

I have no heaters and no chillers on any of them, becacsue the last
heater I had stuck on and ran one of my smaller tanks up to 88 deg.

Well, one reason people keep coral tanks higher is because corals grow much faster @ 81 degrees than at 76, and most natural reefs are normally ~80 degrees.

Seahorses in particular need cooler water, in that 73-75 range, because of the waters they come from.

My tank swings from 80-81, thanks to dual heaters and very good air conditioning.

77 and 79.6. AC is a must for survival in south texas........for fish and humans. A ceiling fan doesn't hurt either.
