    of course pictures! It is going to be a big mess...Curt could explain it much better then what I did! He is even getting excited about this....even though he will be doing all the hard work ;D

    I cant imagine what it is going to look like when it is done, but I get the gest of it.

    we are just trying to figure out a way that we can easily switch over when the basement gets finished!

    well for the update......

    still in the planning phase of the rebuild. Tossing the different options around still, but did luck out on the purchase of a large rubbermaid sump....fantastic price! My choice of size for one price! Which one we get will decide on our plans to connect Goldies tank with reef tank.

    I have a MR-2 skimmer that I bought used from the LFS last year when they closed and am thinking I am going to sell that and purchase a new octopus skimmer, That would be in addition to the ASM-2 skimmer that I already am running.

    It is going to be a while before the actual tank is up I think, as there is a lot of plumbing that needs to be completed along with electrical work.

    I did purchase my first coral tonight!!! It is being held at the store. It is a large rock covered in probably at least 100 of the brightest bam bam zoas that i have ever seen, along with these metallic green mushrooms (at least 35). While I am planning on having majority sps corals (acros and chalices) I am planning on having the bottom of my tank covered in brightly covered zoas and unique mushrooms. Sadly this will be the only coral in the tank when it gets back up, as I did loose all my other stuff...the only thing that surprisingly survived was my large sea apple that I sold this weekend.

    yep it is so hard not to, Curt has been bringing in the coolest corals lately. This one was actually a trade in....just happened to be in the store when the guy brought it in....he wanted a fish for it, I wanted the coral and rock! I think I came out ahead, as I get fish at a little over cost! :}
