ok like were my tank is is where the sun comes up on the left side of the tank and i have three windows in that area so the sun sets on the right side. will it be fine to adjust my auto timers to the time the sun has moved away from the tank thats only about ten mins in the morn and at night about 15 to 20 and i was looking at my tank this morn with the window open it looked so cool i wonder how it will be at night but i was just wondering if its ok to do that or not.

but could a african cichlid be able to get acclimated to saltwater that would be very exotic looking would it be healthy.

do you have a heater, and a chiller? if so it should be fine where you have it. No temp swings. I can't answer your chilid question.
