I've been trying to figure out how to level my tank, the right side is 1/4" to low.

Any ideas on how to level it? I rather not drain the whole tank. Maybe during my next water change I can attempt it.

If it's not level will it leak or crack?

Ya might be a silly question, but what ill effects could be caused by an unlevel tank, mine is slightly not level, although I dont think there is a floor in my apartment that is level! :) hehehe

Would it cause more stress on the stand, seams? I would like to know the risks too!

Mine's the same way too. what i did was put some wooden shims under the stand. then cut the excess off w/a box cutter.

Once it is full there is not so much you can do.
If it is not that extreme you will not have a problem the problems come from having a high or low point in the center of the tank

I would definitely NOT try to move or level the tank with water in it. Even during a water change you are not going to remove enough water to relieve the stress on the sides. IMHO a 1/4" difference is not going to be enough to stress a 75 gallon tank. Mine is off that much as well. Driving shims under the low end of the stand (at the floor) will work to level the tank, but with a loaded tank it is going to be next to impossible to get a shim started under the stand.

I was thinking shims, maybe I'll do a 75% water change, I might be able to hammer a few underneath.
