Luckily I was home about 8pm and ran to PetSmart to get a new 46 Bow front. I got 2 32 gallon Brute trash cans at Homedepot. I transferred corals, LR, and fish . I have a powerhead and heater in each trash can. Luckily I was making up 4 gallons of water so I used that also. I have about 60 LBS of LR but only had about 3-5 Lbs of sand. I trashed out the sand. After I set everything up tomorrow I will add maybe 2-3 lbs of live sand then maybe another 2-3 Lbs of sand next week. My blenny's color changed within a few secs of trying to get him out.
The stupid thing I did was to add all 4 fish in the one can that has about 30LBS of LR and maybe 10-15 gallons of water. Fish are Bi-Color Blenny, Fairy Wrasse, oscellaris clown and a Mandarin. Will the fish be ok till tomorrow night in there? I should have put a fish in each can. Too late now they are all hiding.
    Thanks for your help

The wrasse is likely gonna be very stressed over being in that small space. I don't know about the buildup of nitrates, either; depending on how well you cleaned your rock (or didn't), you might get a spike in nitrates.

IMO as long as you have good flow and heat everything will be ok in the cans for a couple days. Just to be safe I'd have water made up and test for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates daily. Maybe even 2x a day on the ammonia. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

The fish all hide anyway at night so I think its good that its night time now. I will have everything ready for water fish, corals bu tomorrwo night. I add my 2 part alk/cal to all 3 cans. Just a little in each. I have to wait to get the rock out of the can to make up more water. I had to use my can that already had 4 gallons of made up water. I will make up more tomorrow night. I have Tropic marin Pro it mixes real fast. I cant even water test the new tank becasue it raining all day tomorrow and tonight. marineland makes it and it looks to have more silicone than the Oceanic.

How long should I wait to add new Live sand. Maybe a week for everything to settle down? If there is anything else I am missing or have forgotten to do please let me know. The corals will have no light tomorrow but they should be ok with that.
    Thanks

You could use a cup of the old sand, if you still have it, with any aragonite sand from Home Depot. It's a bit cheaper that way.
