    Hi folks,
I am hoping to finally finish up my tank this weekend and start cycling the tank. I was curious as to what additives are recommended/must have's?
My tank is 125gal rr, and will be FOWLR (for now).

    Thanks

Sorry another question, since I dont use my RODI unit everyday, there will be water sitting in the unit. Should I empty the container at the end of each use or will it be ok to run the RODI for a few minute prior to putting the distilled water in the tank?

No need for additives in a FOWLR tank, you will be fine with the RODI unit having water in it. It is best to filter 10+ gallons of RODI water each use to prevent TDS creep. In other words to make sure your water is 0 TDS when filtered.
