Currently I have a 55 gallon with a clown and Sailfin tang. I've gotten a 210 gallon tank and I'm working on plumbing it up as we speak. My planned stock for the 210 included all together 3 tangs the Sailfin, Bristletooth Tomini, and Mimic Lemonpeel.

My question is this. Since I already have the Sailfin should I go ahead and get the other 2 tangs and add them all at once when I get the 210 up and going or will it be safe to add the other 2 at a later point?

depending on size, adding them together or soon after one another will def help territorial aggression. 210g is a fairly large system so ultimately they should all co-exist because the tank is large enough, even if you can't get them in all at once.

best of luck but you should be fine IMO.

I would introduce them together as well. I added a Lavender and Tomani, then a large black tang later and haven't had aggression to any real degree. My lavender will pick on the tomani during feeding but it doesnt bother him.

Super awesome. Thanks the Sailfin I have now is a little guy and the others I get will be small as well and I can add them after the lights are off if that would be best.

The tangs won't bother other fish I plan on adding will they? I had an order I wanted to add fish, but it kind of went out the window...hubby wanted a fish that swam all over.

Some species are known to bother larger fish that aren't tangs, but your selection should be ok.
