This video shows someone who has obviously no experience with saltwater aquariums and has stocked his marine biOrb 16g with Perculas damsels and a yellow tang. This is extremely cruel.

This is why we must educate reefers with sites like 3reef.

i was a petco the other day to pickup something for my bearded dragon and i happen to go check their crappy fish selection and theres a teenager with a parent standing there observing the fish. i hear the teenager say "hey lets buy one of these tanks and then we can get all the nemo fishies and give that to johnny for a present!" the mothers in agreement that this is a great idea. little johnny will love it! the tank in question was one of those Fluval desk tanks they came out with. i havent investigated it but it appeared to be a 10gal or less. the girl had chosen out her 'nemo' her 'dori' and her 'my bubbles' fish which is equivelent to a clown fish, blue tang, and a yellow tang.

i without any question turned to her and said "if you buy that tank you CANNOT put those fish in there its inhumane and they will die within the first few weeks in an uncycled unmatured tank nontheless" the girl looked very puzzled and responds with "do you work here? it doesnt appear you do... so you can carry on" i wanted to smack this chick. meanwhile an employee was nearby and heard all this going on. he told her that he could only sell her one clown for that tank. i was in shock yet again, and the mothers thinking this is all jolly. it makes me wonder how many people out there have a "NEMO" setup in a <10gal tank.

oh and screw petco and their lack of care. 3 tanks at this place had fish full of ich.

It makes me sick that unexperienced people just think they can throw a tang etc.. into such a small tank, iv also heard people putting clownfish in freshwater tanks ,are they mad!!

I take snorkelers out to the reefs around Key West. You wouldn't believe the morons coming back to the boat talking about all the "Nemo's" they saw. I explain why that's not true and they still don't get it, "But I saw Nemo, Nemo", no you didn't......
