I just had to tell everyone about this.

I went to a lfs today, When I was talking to an employee, a woman walked up and asked the employee, “I want to get a nemo fish for my son, can I get one and just throw it in a 20 gallon fish tank with my goldfish?” :)wreck:)
When she fond out you cant she said “well can I get one of these?” (looking at other goldfish)
The employ said, “What other fish do you have in the tank?”
    Lady said “ about 24 goldfish” :)o)
needles to say the employee told her that she needed to get rid of most of the fish. One more thing, the women thought “nemo fish” only cost $2.99

Good thing she asked the employee instead of just coming in and buying a clown!

That did happing one time. The employee said she sold a clown fish to a lady, and forgot to ask what kind of tank she had. The lady came back with a dead clown. The employee ask when it died, the lady said “I took it home, and put it in a betta bowl and it died in 30 minutes.” this lady was buying a “nemo fish” for her son.

This always happens to me at the LFS where I work. Sometimes I even get asked if the SW fish that we have are real or battery operated::):laughcry:

my lfs guy was telling me about a guy that had a "salt" tank, and wanted some easy fish to take care of. LFS sold him a couple chromies, he comes back in the next day with dead chromies, and after a while of talking to the guy turns out he was using table salt to make the salt water
