Well after a long bought with dino flagellates I decided to nuke my tank & start over. I tossed the old CC sand and bought all new sand & rock (thanks to macro rocks for the sand & especially reefcleaners.org for the awesome rocks!), upgraded the sump to a 20 long with an 8x12 refugium and a built in overflow box to hold a bunch of rock rubble. All other equipment was scrubbed & soaked in bleach & vinegar. I'll nuke the old rock and store it away for a later upgrade ;D.

Sorry for the no-so-great pic quality, we still can't find our camera . I wanted to post from the beginning so I figured out how to get pics off my phone. I'll get some better/more pics when I can find the camera.

Here it is. Not much to look at yet but hope you enjoy...

    Equipment list:
-TANK - 90 gallon AG w/builtin overflow, 80lbs dry rock, 110lbs sugar sand
    -LIGHTS - Current Sunpod 2 x 250w 14K DE HQI w/9bl & 9wh moon LEDs
-BALLASTS - Lumatek electronic dimmable 250w HQI ballasts
    -CIRCULATION - Vortech MP40w ES
    -SUMP - 20 gallon long w/8x12 refugium
    -SKIMMER - Precision Marine RM-150
    -REACTOR - Nextreef MR-1 w/Rio 800 (211 gph)
    -RETURN - Ehiem 1260 (Thank you MARK & 3Reef!)
    -CONTROL - Digital Aquatics Reefkeeper Lite, 3 x PC4 & RKM-SL1
-COOLING - 3 x 80mm computer fans controlled by temp (RKL)
    -HEATING - 1 x Won Brothers 500w titainium
    -DOSING - 2 x 1gal jugs with BRS 2 part & Aqua Lifter pumps
-ATO - Digital Aquatics float switch on the RKL & an Aqua Lifter pump

Full tank shot. Rocks are from Reefcleaners.org and aquascape is epoxied together in 2 sections so they can be removed if neeed.

Under the stand - under the shelf will house the reactor, dosing jugs & dosing/ATO pumps. The ATO bucket is stored outside next to the stand.

    Power and controls (Reefkeeper Lite)

Sump / refugium - water from the tank drains into a box full of rock rubble to break up bubbles and add to the bio-filtration. The refugium also drains into the box.

    Thanks for looking

Thanks guys. It took a lot to finally admit defeat & start breaking it down but I'm glad I did. It looks a lot better now than it did! Plus there is space all the way around the rocks now. It will end up being an SPS dominated with some LPS.

Even though it took 3-4 days to glue up all the rock and another 3-4 days to clean everything and re-fill it, 5 gal bucket after 5 gal bucket, USPS delivery issues and convincing/apeasing my other half .. I think it will be worth it. 8)

Just a quick question...could I email John at ReefCleaners with a picture of my desired scape to show what I want? Maybe he can better tell what rocks to pick out?

Finally seeing some nitrates and amonia levels are droping ;D I had a catastrophe in the temporary tank that was holding my fish. The damn heater stuck on! I noticed the clowns weren't swiming near the top, just kinda laying on thier bellies & barely swimming. The temp got to over 98 deg!!! Killed my wesllo, feather duster, fire fish & crown snails. The clowns died a few days later. Funny that my yellow tang, hipo tang & 6 line are the only ones left. The hardy ones died :-/

On a good note...my birthday, father's day & selling some stuff allowed me to get an MP40w ES ;D;D;D
