    Im looking for T5 HO bulbs that rate in the rang of 12,000K to 18000K
    but here is the catch, bulbs that are shorter the better. I would like 16"-18"

    I know what I "want" and what I get can be a struggle ....

    That is a tough one. Current USA makes them in those lengths, but their bulbs are not the greatest. Not sure who else makes a 16" bulb.

    24" is the shortest for most "good" HO brands... That is the prediciment many people with smaller tanks run into... I honestly can't think of a decent lamp in that size at the moment...

    Much lower PAR levels than other manufacturers.
