T5 versus LED lighting

    oh i just realized ur from holland landing...are u near the airstrip? i have my own cessna, i go flying in the simcoe region A LOT...i fly out of buttonville lol

    I know several 24" tall tanks that have no issues growing SPS on sandbeds with normally driven t5ho as their only source of light(actually workhorse ballasts and good parabolic SLR type reflectors).

    Seeing the results in person, I would have no issue running all t5ho over a even a 30" tall tank.

    I think these new LED "pendants" that mimic the single spot light of a MH will work wonders at making shimmer, even in a t5ho lit tank.

    cool to see you close dom. youve probably buzzed my place a few times. lol. see alot of planes and coptors go over to land up there. a buddy is taking his air lessons out of buttonville. theres a few others of us here in this area. you need any help in regards to alternate stores to check out , let me know.

    appreciate the kindness divott! and to the guys who want to do the float plane...not sure who rents float planes, i do see a couple small charters here and there...haha
