    Just a bit more info.....is this an Oceanic with the canopy? I have an idea that may fit what you want. I was thinking of an Ecoxotic Module and the 2 bulb fixture but need to know if the top is open and the exact width.

    Well, you can leave in the stock bulbs (and keep changing them) and add a LED Module from Ecoxotic to get the shimmer and good light to add to the bulbs. If you gut the lights (as I did on my 14 gal. Bio) 2 Modules will really set off your 29 gal. My LFS is now using them to grow SPS. Now, the bennefit of still using bulbs is you can change the color look variations. The Modules alone are like Halides, you only get a certain color. Here are the Modules;

    Well, like I said, if you don't mind not being able to change the color temp, I would use 2, then if you wanted even more later on add a third.

    And about LED, I think $200 might be a bit too much for me + shipping and everything.

    Save that for a future upgrade to your lighting or wait until you can afford it if you really like them.
