    Certainly depends on what you're trying to keep. Do you plan fish only with live rock(FOWLR) or want to keep corals? If corals, which type, SPS, LPS, softies, etc.?

    My thought regardless is go with the 6 bulb. Drs. Foster and Smith have the Nova Extreme Pro (6x54) for $359.99, so not much more money for a considerable amount of more light. If you want SPS, probably should look at a fixture with metal halides...
