    So I was in need of a quick replacement for a 10k T5 bulb so I went down to the local LFS and they only had GLO 18k or 6700 bulbs Figuring the 18k would be bluer I picked it up well after getting it home and installing it, IT truly looks kind of pink is this right?

    yes I think the par rating on the 18k is some what towards the purple range so your eyes will see it as pinkish.
