Wow! That must be fun to have your tank double in size!! What a good find. You lucked out going to the pet store that day! It's looking good.

Rockwork: less is more. I'm a HUGE fan of minimalist rockscaping.

I actually like the area of sandbed to the left that only has a few rocks. A side benefit of this open area is I see my mandarin much much more often in the new tank.

My fungia is doing nicely at the bottom of the tank and my Royal Gramma is his nomal self.

Just a few more images of the current inhabitants.

My Kanyia tree looked horrible in the last tank, it is much happier in the new one.

Some of my micro zoas. I'm not sure why but in the old tank my zoas all shrank.

Looks much better. When I upgrade, I'm either doing a standard 125 like yours, or a 120 high which is 5' x 18" x 26". I actually plan on using a 4 foot fixture as I like to keep lps too, and I have found that many lps, especially my acans prefer much lower light. The shaded ends will actually be a benefit IMO.

    Agreed.
I was going to tell you the rock looked good as is.

Thanks for the kind words. I've gotten to like the more open areas. My wife picked up a fish on Friday. She had talked about it before hand and picked up a really nice Golden Headed Sleeper goby. I'd love to post pics but he dug out under a rock as soon as I put him in and whenever I get close to the tank he hides.

I found this hitch hiker on my rock a year ago. It started out as a single small head or coral and I almost killed it with aptasia x. It has a hard skeleton and tentacles that are over an inch long. It has also started spreading. I have small corals like this starting from around it's base.

I've been told it is a cup coral. Can anyone confirm?

I finally got a couple new powerheads for the tank. I had about 1800gph of flow before today. I added two 1320gph koralia knockoffs I picked up on eBay. There is quite a bit of stuff floating around right now but that should get caught in the sock or skimmer.
