Calcium is in the 500s after switching from Salinity to Tropic Marine Pro Reef. Didn't think my Params would swing that much. Some of my sps are ****ed and I am wondering what to do? Is that gonna cause problems being so high?7 I am aiming for around 430. my alk is around 7.

It can being as sps doesn't like fast swings. Would have been best to test the new mix before the change. Seems like it high in calcium and low in alk...

Sorry only thing you can do would be to slowly try and bring parameters back to where you want them. What were they prior to the change?

Also do you dose or just rely on water changes?

In my experience when I switched salts I slowly added new salt to the old salt until it was 50/50 and then all the way until I was using 100% new salt. I also test my batch and add the additive I needed to bring my parameters to operating level.
