I wanted to know if anyone else is using a SWC cone skimmer and what is your opinion of it. I have seen a lot of reviews on that skimmer but really wanted to get a unit that isn't loud and something that is going to give me the most bang for my buck. I am setting up my 90 gallon system. I'm just waiting a way to get my RO/DI water from the LFS to my home with is a 25 minute drive away.

Look at my review on the sc-150 it uses the same atman 2500 pump the swc skimmer comes with.... There is also another large review on another form that's has a lot of good info on the sc-150
It's one of the best entry level skimmers IMO
If you need more info PM me and let me know.

I don't have the cone but I think mine is called the SWC BMK150. I love it. My skimmer is awesome.

I have an SWC Cone and it is fantastic. The pump is a little on the cheap side, but it definitely blows my old Reef Octopus out of the water.

The SC150 is was only 95 bucks shipped to my door, and puts out some good skim, quiet, etc., Like silor says.

What website are you ordering them from, do you have a link or any other information on them?
