ok guys so i got this new tank to replace my 10G nano. but the thing is, the new one is 22g. and i would just have to get more rocks, more water, new sand, and the one in my old tank only has enough for a 10G.

if i buy fully cured Live Rock, New sand, and add 12g of new water, will i be going through another cycle?

again, my livestocks are mainly, SPS, peppermint shrimp, and a clown fish.

Live rock online or from a LFS? LFS no, online yes. I would add the rock, sand and then the water removed from your old tank via water change and give it three weeks to cycle with perhaps a fish in it. this would make sure you sensitive SPS are not stressed in any way

I would add all dry stuff and a cup of sand to seed the new tank and you may mini cycle but nothing bad just dont do live as you risk die off

The difference is the die off that occurs during shipping. When you get it from the LFS their is no die off on the way to your home. The die off causes an ammonia spike which will harm any livestock
