All I got out of that is: "too sissy to put acetone on a cut." ;D

The question here is not packleaders method for curing flesh wounds. The real question here is why does packleader have nail polish remover in the first place? :gorgeous: (closest thing to a cross-dresser smiley I could find.)

Just kidding by the way guys.

Nail Polish remover with acetone is very handy to have around. Very good cleaning agent.

Actually, it really doesn't burn at all. I know you think it would, but there are plenty of antiseptics out there that burn a heck of a lot worse than nail polish remover.
For the two cases we carried it: in hockey, it is against the rules to play while bleeding. You are not going to leave a game just because you need three stitches. So you always carried both in the equipment bag. 3 minutes and your ready to go back out. As a contractor, same thing. You can't be out of the fight that long in the heat of things to receive proper stitches. Its a simple and fast technique that anyone can do to stop minor to moderate bleeding.

WOW !!! I knew superglue could be used to glue rocks together but had no idea it could be used underwater or on wet rocks to do aquascaping, thought they had to be dry. With bow hunting season opening next month I've got two more items to add to my first aid kit, now I can't wait to slice open a finger on a broadhead during a moment of utter stupidity. WOOHOOO!
