    Does anyone have any experience with or knowledge of magnets or powerheads that are magnet mounted for an aquarium that will go through much thicker walls?

    I need something that will hold a powerhead through a 7/8" piece of glass and a 3/4" piece of plywood.

    I would say no matter what it will be big and expensive - but not to worry - it's the boss' money!!! This is for the 430 gallon tank I have at work

    there are things called magnavores which are pretty powerful.
    vortech mp60 work on tanks 1.25 inches thick
