Last night when I was cleaning the bulb of my sunpod and the inside, I was putting back on those bolts for the glass to be secure and the one metal screw broke off. The other 3 are tightly secured so the uv glass is in place but I put a little piece of tape over the hole where the screw and bolt were located so the little hole was not open for salt spray to possible get in. Let me know if this makes any sense to you guys. My question is will the piece of tape be ok with running the 150 watt MH bulb? I don't know if the heat could cause the tape to melt or something.

I'd drill out (or get it out however) the broken screw, and get another screw to replace it. I'd only tape it temporarily if you don't have time right now to fix it the right way.

The broken screw is out. To put back on the glass shield you simply turn those bolts on to the threaded screw. The screw broke from the fixture so there is no was of fixing it. If someone has a Sunpod they would probably understand exactly what I mean
    Thanks,

If you can get a picture of it I am sure I can give a way to fix it.

Otherwise, a dab of silicon will seal it well and you can rip it off with your fingernail when you need to change a bulb and re-silicon it.
