I am in the process of installing my sump and am in need of some help. It is a Sealife systems 75 with overflow and a mag 7 for my return. I got everything set up following detailed instructions. The problem is is that when the overflow kicks in with the return pump on, the sump keeps loosing water and fast. Could this mean that the mag 7 is too powerful.

Could be one of two things. 1. pump too powerful or 2. you dont have enough water. If the pump is too much, just install a ball valve to regulate the flow. Luna

Thanks again. I replaced the mag 7 for the mag 5 and everything worked out great. Sump has been up and running for a few hours with no problems.
