Sump tubing is gross!

There will eventually be so many creep and gross things growing in there you won't know what to do. I don't even know where my bristle worms came from. I also have weird sponges growing all over my sump and overflow box. Crabs appear out of nowhere. Then you have the amphipods and other strange worms and stuff skittering around there after lights-out. Regular ecosystem, I tellya.

 

Oh Lord, when my CUC came today, there were TONS of amphipods in the bags!! Ahhh I freaked out lol I HATE those things.

Yeas, I'm scared of my tank - so I don't look in it after lights out. lol I'd rather not know what's in there.

 

lol - I got stung by a bristle worm the other day. That hurt.

Just hope you never get a bobbit worm in there. My friend had one and had to take a chisel to a rock. If you wonder what that is or what they can do, use your imagination.

 

I've googled them and had nightmares for weeks! lol Not really...but yes, those are terrifying. There are so many gross things. haha

And owww, your poor finger!!

My finger hurt for a few days. I soaked it in vinegar right away so that helped quite a bit. Still stung though.
