My lfs has a Striped Squirrelfish & he looked pretty cool. I have a 125g FOWLR tank...with about 150lbs of lr.

The lady at the lfs said they are cool fish because they are active but the Live Aquaria site says they are nocturnal and don't come out with the lights on.

Anyone have any experience with a Striped Squirrelfish?

    Thanks!

I only have experience with one at the store I used to work at. He was so friendly and active, we kept him as a store pet. Is your rockwork open or does it have deep caves? If it is the latter then it will hide. They are nocturnal in the wildd.

I'm attached a pix of my tank. I have about 150lbs of live rock & there are some areas where a fish can hide.

Yeah, your rockwork is pretty open, it might not like that.
