Strickland_673 55 Gallon Tank Thread!!!!!!

So I finally got my 55 up and running with saltwater, been going for awhile now. Last night finished moving the rest of my LR and fish over. Here are a few pics of it today. My avatar pic is what I had before, a 25 gallon.

to explain the lighting ugliness. I am waiting for my new canopy and lights to come on back order. I have no corals as of yet, so i have my 24" T5's on the right hand side of my tank, and just a T8 on the left.......so I will post more when the new lights are on!!! will look better then!!!!

 

ya i was gunna say whats the deal with the lights but i didnt see anything that needed them. post some pics with new lights.

So today I got my shipment from my suppliers, in British Colombia! I told myself I had to take pictures of the box and everything in it's original state but I got too excited and opened it all.

What was in the box:

1. New Life Spectrum Fish Food (love this stuff, 0.5mm sinking pellets Damsels love it)
2. Coralife power center with timer and day/night outlets
3. Titanium Grounding Probe
4. Ehiem Auto Feeder

Anybody use any of this before?

 

Tank is looking great! any recent shots? btw, where are you located? BC?

 

I have used the Coralife timers. Should be OK as long as you don't have Halide's

Yeah the timer should be fine I don't have MH just yet. Still waiting to get back from my next trip and then I'll be upgrading my lighting....

 

I'll have some recent shots up on here tomorrow, not much really has changed.....
