Storing GFO in airtight or normal container.

    Please tell me how to store GFO. im new to gfo and carbon. will it loose its ability if i store it in a normal non airtight container?

    It doesn't matter really. Some ferric products are shipped dry and called GFO or granular ferric oxide, others are shipped damp or wet and are more properly called GFH or granular ferric hydroxide. Same active ingredient, just wet or dry and does the same thing when you stick it in a reactor or bag.

    will it become kinda stone or hard or something if i store it in a non airtight container? this was my another concern. thanx

    No. It doesn't really attract moisture like some powdered or granular products.

    I've had some in a sealed plastic nalgene bottle and also some in a plain old zip loc bag for over a year and both are the same consistency.
