Mantis are very smart and they will recognize u after a short while. Different types have different personalities and there are several members here who has/d them and are very happy with them.

I've been readin into Mantis since I am highly considering one as a next tank project. The hole glass breaking thing is a little over done. There is actually only a few (smashers) that are capable of breaking glass and it normally happens when they are trying to dig down deeper and hit glass. Solution? A piece of lexan in the bottom.

You could only do one clown goby as they love to eat each other unless they are a proven pair. I would do invet only. Didn't you ask this in a previous thread?

i had a show off thread that i asked on but no one really answered. also i dont really want to do mantis because it is just kinda a desk top tank and i want people to admire it for its beauty and a mantis tank doesnt always look beautiful. i was thinking maybe some more dwarf seahorses but then again those are extremely limiting in what else you can put in the tank so i dont know. how about a neon goby and a panda goby?

Any of the gobies you mentioned would do fine. But I think you are restricted to 1 maybe 2 fish due to lack of territories.

yes i wasnt even thinking of doing more than 2 of anything. ill probably keep it cheaper so i have money for led's so ill probably just get like a neon and a panda goby. and neons need very specialized diets right?
