It looks like Im over the ammonia spike in my cycle and I am starting to think of stocking now. A CuC is first on the list, but I am trying to look ahead to fish. I'm not real sure of what to get first. I eventually want a pair of oc clown hosted to a nem, generic I know, but hey I like it. I've read some people say not to start with the clowns first as they are territorial. I have been looking at fire fish, and maybe some kind of goby.

Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'd do a smaller fairy or flasher wrasse, your 2 clowns and a goby/shrimp pair. That should give you good movement across the entire watercolumn. I'd add the goby (depending on species) first, then clowns and shortly after a wrasse.

goby, firefish, and pair of clowns. A fang blenny is also another thing to look at, especially ORA ones.

I thought about a wrasse but I'm worried about the tank being big enough for it.

I would look at blennies. There are a lot of options and they have a lot of personality. I have an oc clown and if I was to go for a good pair, I think I would go with either skunk or true perc. Like others said, firefish is a good option as well.

The only problem I see with blennies is that they will perch on the rockscape, and since that will probably be claimed by the clowns and their anemone, they will be bullied. I've seen it happen.
This is the wrasse I meant:
Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: White Banded Possum Wrasse, Wetmorella albofasciata

Fang blennies are great. I just got a harptail blenny as the first fish for my tank and I love him. he's got a ton of character.

That is a pretty cool looking wrasse, I will definitely have to check into one of those. Thanks for the suggestion, that little guy is now moved to the top of the research list.

They are sweet little fish with tons of personality. They are hardy as well. Basically same care as your clownfishes, but it needs a more established tank with a few pods to feel at home. Plus the hunting behavior is fun to watch.

I don't have a fuge, but I have seen where some people create an in DT "nest" for pods with some chaeto in a container or a pile of LR rubble.
