update - day 16 - Diatoms are on the way out , which is good going IME, I am used to them hanging about a bit longer
snails still with me, as are the Zoanthid frags

1st water change ( sort of) this weekend , Ill take a gallon out and replace with a gallon from main tank during main tanks water change

Ill post some new pics tomorrow, as the new light unit is on and its a lot cleaner in the place now

Steve the tank is coming along very nicely and looking great. frags are looking healthy and nice :). I have been out of town on business all week and expected to come back to a diatom bloom in the pico. Not the first sign of anything. No changes, so im still in limbo :(. I guess ill still wait awhile longer and see what happens.

    thank you Yamaharider
this is the fastest they have arrived and receded for me, Im used to having 3 or 4 weeks wait and then the same amount of time for them to go

hopefully yours, if they arrive will also burn out in double quick time

Wonderful set up, sounds like it will be great when the zoanthids get multiplying.

good for you Gexx Ill be looking for the thread which I hope you started with them on?

thank you baugherb. as long as you dont have any intellectual property worries, as Im borrowing all your ideas.

Thank you 2 in 10 , yes Id really like almost full rock coverage of Zoanthids of different colours, plus the 2 feature corals, and maybe just maybe a small rock island of GSP in the middle of the sand bed, and a few cm from surrounding rocks.
