    Thank you Ultraner

kss2801 I have them about 1 inch away from the main rockwork at present

excellent reefmonkey , they are a lot of fun

GSP - those 3 island are a result of just that the main colonies in my 3ft do ooze mantle in an effort to reach something solid to attach to and once those pieces where substantial I cut them off and glued them to the small rocks they are on now

as you know its easier to see this after lights have been out a while and polyps retracted so thats when I check the islands for any new grow outs and can trim them off if required

Great progression, going zoanthids only? Lots of great colors to choose from.

I've gotta figure out a new way to browse the forum, apparently. Too many threads go under my radar. As old as this thread is I've never seen it!

    Beautiful tank, Steve. :)

    thanks 2 in 10

I know what you mean Robman , I find this smaller set up requires more tank cleaning , algae scraping - I think its simply that with a piece of glass 18 inches x 12 inches a small circle of coralline algae is really noticable but on a piece of glass 5ft long you could easily ignore it.

    thank you Fallens Reef
they are relatively inexpensive to set up, especially if most of the inhabitants come from an existing set up

    Thanks Reef Sparky
the "show off your fish tank" forum is rightly very popular and threads move rapidly on here
