So i have decided to upgrade from a 29gallon to a 55gallon, only because tank was free and i put it on my dresser in my room. The tank specs are as follows:
    32 lbs uncured LR
40lbs aragonite non-live sand (plus a cup of LS from 29g)
    Koralia 3 and 4
    Nova Extreme 48'' T5: 3 actinics, 3 10000k daylights
    Rena SmartHeater
    Fluval 305 canister filter
    Flow Rate: 2700 GPH

The tank has been cycling for 2 days and these are my current readings:
    SG: 1.025
    ammonia: 0.5 ppm
    pH: 8.1
    nitrite: 0 ppm
    nitrate: 15 ppm

The pieces im moving from my 29g biocube to the 55 are:
    35 lbs cured liverock
    Koralia 1
    1 cleaner shrimp
    12 turbo snails
    4 blue legged hermit crab
    1 tiger pistol shrimp
    1 watchman goby
1 maroon clown (and 2 bubble tip anenomes)
    1 bangai cardinal
    1 scarlett hawk
    1 3' black naso
orange sponge, zoos, mushrooms, star polyps, sand polyps, open brain, frogspawn, hammer, devils hand leather, toadstool leather, candy cane, sun coral,

I won't be moving anything until the uncured rock has cycled the tank comepletely except I will be moving the LR that does not have corals growing (approx. 15 pounds).

Here are some pics of the 55gallon and 29 gallon biocube

Nice tanks, you may want to reconsider the tangs though. They get quite large. Your corals look nice and healthy though.

Wow, your tank is way way full.

I like to be able to let my fish swim around a little more

I think it's the glass that makes it look really full. I think that is the reason for the upgrade.

Well its been about 7 days since my last water test. I have added about 10 lbs of cured LR and a 30lb LR. My parameters are as follows

    pH: 8.1
    Ammonia: 0
    Nitrite: 0
    Nitrate: 20ppm

I have changed the aquascape but I am not satisfied with it; am going to re-do the entire thing in a bit. Is it safe though for a small fishie?
