    So i'm learning how to use Dreamweaver CS4 to design my own webpage but was wondering what's a good site to get a domain name from. Anyone have any advice?

    not sure. but ive heard from one of my IT prof that Go Daddy sucks so you may want to avoid that one.

    I have used Powweb for the last 6 year or so. They are currently running a sale on hosting for $4.88 per month and will pay for the domain name for the first year when you sign up for a new hosting account. click the link to see everything they offer, it's far too much for me to try and list here.

    I used to build websites for a company and we used to buy from Godaddy.com cheap domain names and they give you a ton of extras. We ended up being a reseller to make some money off of the deal.

    I use siteground. They have a ton of hosting options. Great up time. And great tech support.

    So just a quick question, once i register a domain name, all i have to do is upload my created site to them and it will go online?

    All my domains are through godaddy.com - not sure why people would say they've sucked, they've provided years of good service to me.
