I just witnessed my Starry Agae Blenny throwing up quit a lot of algae and/or feces? He threw up about 4-6 times the amount that he usually defacates. Otherwise, he seems fine and all of the other fish seemed fine. He did look like he had a rather large belly before this happened. Has anybody ever seen or heard of Algae Blennies doing this?
    Thanks,
    Jim

Are you feeding it algae or is this algae that the fish is picking off of your rockwork?

Mine did that when I first got it - belly was huge too so I guess it was just eating too much at first

I guess they learn to control their eating over time? Maybe? Or do they just keep eating like panic survival mode?!

Or maybe it's trying to eat a toxic algae like bryopsis?

Any update on the blenny? I just started having issues with my lawnmower throwing up. He won't poop anymore and throws up all the time. Belly is obviously empty in the morning, extremely full in the afternoon and he pukes every night. Hasn't pooped in a week. Any ideas 3reef????
