    I have a chocolate chip starfish (1st one) and was wondering if it's normal behavior to have their 5 points folded up or if this is a signof stress?

    I had one owowsedthecow in my FOWLR for a couple of years (reefed the tank up so had to say goodbye to the star)

    the tips did often curl upwards away from the body
    as long as they dont seem to be melting away, then IME its not a sign of a problem

    mine really enjoyed eating mussels on the half shell - it would cover the whole mussel ingest it and then leave a perfectly clean shell behind
    none of the fish could get at it, it was amusing to watch them trying
