    I just don't want it to starve to death. I'd love for it to be healthy and happy... meaning some planning and considerations must be made.

    all my serpent star eats is pellets, mysis, brine, cyclopeeze, waste. they're scavengers, and no specific feeding is needed for them. maybe feed more of what you're already feeding, if you're not already over-feeding.
