I bought a starfish the other day and the LFS guy said it was reef safe and it wouldnt try to eat my anemone and so on, but then today I was looking and I saw a website that has the exact "looking" starfish as mine that says its not reef safe ~>

    http://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_1...4&category_search=63&root_parent_id=4

This site leads me to belive that I might have something different than what I though , The LFS guy called it one thing and the website calls it something else "knobbed star" . If anybody can help ID this and tell me who to belive i would apreciate it .

The starfish pictured above Isn't reef safe. It will eat just about everything from Inverts to soft corals. If it is a small specimen you may be alright for a while but watch out for havoc.

Yes, if it is the one in the picture not reef safe, as indicated.

The only thing im worried about is the starfish eating my anemone but I think my anemone would sting the hell out of it if it tried.

I think your anemone is about the only thing not on the menu.
