    Are there any type of bad sponges? I have like pink/purple sponge on one of my rocks, Its really really pretty. I like it a lot I hope its not bad, I can't take pics my lights are off.

    There is a species of black encrusting sponge that will grow over corals. That's not good obviously. There's also rock-boring sponges that will tear apart your LR. Obviously, that's not good either. However, 99.9% of the sponges that hobbyists will encounter are quite safe.
