Sponges seen between frogspawn heads

    I have long white sponges between the heads of my frogspawn. I am able to see them bc the tentacles are retracted since its sleepytime.

    Not a terrible emergency, but nevertheless, I have them identified and am ready to extract them if needed.

    I have a yellow ball sponge in the middle of an 18 head frogspawn it's been there at least a year with no Ill effects.I wouldn't worry

    If it were to bother the frogspawn at all, the sponge would be the one in danger ;) Not too much out there with a more potent sting than a member of the euphyllia

    That's true I got a nice red rash on my arm from mine I doubt the sponge would win:)
