speed up ick treatment?

well my gf thingers tank had a nasty case of ick.i know why it started but it is irrelevant at this point. the standing survivors are 1 fire fish and a colt coral and some inverts(hermits snails ect). there are now no signs of ick in the tank but i dont want it to spring back into action.after reading some of the recent ick threads i had the idea of removing the colt coral and putting it in a qt tank for awhile, and treating the tank with kick ick( reef safe ick treatment) and hypo treating the tank. will this effectively speed up killing of the ick?

how low can the salinity go before affecting the tanks bacteria population?

 

and will raising the temp above 86 help if i move the fish?
