Have not tried lemon juice but I did try boiling water with not much luck.What worked for me was pickling lime....basically the same thing as kalk paste,it worked real good for me.

 

I wish i could nuke that specific rock but I have a small colony of pulsing xenia on it and tree coral. I will try using the lemon juice first and see how that works then if not I will us extreme measures muhahahah!

 

I will def try this first before the lemon juice, its kinda close to my soft corals though will it matter if I use a syringe and put it right on the little sucka, or is it to close for comfort?

 

what i've found to work the best, is to just juice them lemon (dont filter anything) then take a rather small baster (not turkey) and squirt it right in the mouth, with all water movers off (powerheads, filters, wavemakers).
