    It's not good stuff at all, the nutrients should be removed. For softies, I like to leave a little, in a mixed tank, not too much, in an sps dominant tank, barely anything should be present. You do not need fish, just a skimmer, and feed once a week. And don't forget a couple powerheads for water movement.
